ADJUSTING BRUSH HEIGHT

MAIN BRUSH
1. For optimum cleaning results, adjust brush height
so brush pressure meter reads in the center of
green zone (Figure 22).
2. To adjust brush height, turn off main power switch,
loosen knurl locking ring below brush adjustment
knob and turn knob clockwise to decrease or
counter clockwise to increase pressure. Be certain
to tighten down knurl locking ring and knob after
adjusting, if necessary, use adjustable locking
pliers to tighten knurl locking ring (Figure 23).
ATTENTION: If knob and knurl locking ring works
loose, the machine will vibrate downward and
premature brush wear will result.
SIDE BRUSH
1. For optimum cleaning results, adjust side brush
height so the outer 1/3 of the brush bristles touch
the floor (Figure 24).
WARNING: Moving parts. Turn off power
before working on machine.

2. To adjust side brush height, turn off main power
switch, loosen nut on adjustment screw and turn
screw clockwise to raise. Tighten down nut when
properly adjusted (Figure 25).

CHARGING BATTERIES

NOTE: Recharge batteries ONLY after a total of 30
minutes of use or more. This will prolong battery life.
The following charging instructions are intended for
supplied 24V chargers only. Or use a charger with the
following specifications to prevent battery damage.
