Unscrew left-hand axle clamp-
ing screws 2.
Remove axle screw 3.

Unscrew right-hand axle clamp-
ing screws 4.
Pull out axle 5 using a screw-
driver.
Do not remove grease on axle.
Hold left-hand slider tube 6 in
place and turn front wheel to
left to press apart brake pads.
Once the calipers have
been removed, there is
a risk of the brake pads being
pressed together to the extent
that they cannot be slipped back
over the brake disk on reassem-
bly.
Do not operate the handbrake
lever when the brake calipers
have been removed.
Roll front wheel out of the
forks.
Remove spacer sleeve 7.
