Telephone settings

You can change settings to program how the
telephone works.
Press
CID

Contrast
There are five contrast levels (1-5). Press

Call history

• All calls: Each incoming call is logged.

Repeated calls
The caller ID history notifies you when multiple
calls are received from the same caller. Press

CID to turn this feature on or off:
• Combined: Only the most recent call from each

number is kept. A REP icon is displayed if more
than one call is received from the same caller.
• Separate: Each call is logged, even if the same
person calls more than once.
Caller ID with call waiting
If you subscribe to combined caller ID with call
waiting service from your local telephone com-
pany, when this feature is on, the telephone dis-

plays and logs caller ID information if you get
a new incoming call while on an existing call.
When this feature off, the telephone does not
display and log caller ID information, but you
can still hear one beep to remind you there is
an external call. You can press FLASH to answer
the call. Press
or off.
