4. Check [Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)]
and click on the [Next] button.
5. Place the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
6. Check [Search for the best driver in these locations], then
check only [Search for the best driver in these locations.]
(be sure to uncheck [Search removable media (floppy, CD-
ROM...)]) and click on the [Browse] button.
7. Click on [My Computer] – > [DP-BSW] – > [Drivers], then click on
[WINXP] and click on the [OK] button.
8. Click on the [Next] button.
9. The window as shown below may appear. As this window
is not important for the installation, simply click on the
[Continue Anyway] button. The file copy starts at the moment
you click on this button.
When the Olympus software is searched, a message is
displayed indicating that it is not Microsoft-authorized
software. As there is no problem, just continue. Microsoft
has an organization named WHQL to apply authorization
procedures on computers and peripherals. For the present,
this software is not authorized by this organization.
10. When the following window appears in a while, click on the
[Finish] button.
