Adjusting the chain requires special tools.
Have the drive chain slack adjusted by your
dealer.

When adjusting the drive chain slack, be
carefu l not to damage the wheel speed
sensor and pulser ring .
1. Place you r motorcycle on the side stand
on a level surface.
2. Stop t he engine. Place the transmission
in Neutra l.
3.
Loosen t he rear axle nut.
4.
Loosen the lock nuts on both sides of the
swingarm.
