Safety Guidelines
We recomme nd t hat all riders take a certified
course approved by t he Motorcycle Safety .

Ride Defensively
Always pay attention to other vehicles around
you, and do not assume that other drivers see
you. Be prepared to stop quickly or perform an
evasive maneuver.
Make Yourself Easy to See
Make yourself more visible, especially at night,
by wearing bright reflective clothing,
posit ioning yourself so other drivers can see
you, signa ling before turning or changing lanes,
and using your horn when necessary.
Ride within Your Limits
Never ride beyond your personal abi lities or
faste r than conditions warrant Fatigue and
inattenti on ca n impair your ability to use good
judgment and ride safely.
Don't Drink and Ride
Alcohol and rid ing don't mix. Even one
alcoholic dri nk can red uce your abi lity to
respo nd to chan gi ng conditions, and your
reacti on t ime get s worse w it h every addit ional
drin k. Don't drin k and ride, and don't let your
fri ends drin k and rid e ei th er.
