Inspecting for Damage
Inspect the tires for
cuts, slits, or cracks
that exposes fabric or
cords, or na ils or
other foreign objects
embedded in the side
of the tire or the
tread. Also inspect
for bumps or bu lges in the side wa lls of the
t ires.

Inspecting for Abnormal Wear
Inspect the tires for

signs of abnorma l
wea r on the contact
su rface.

Inspecting Tread Depth
Inspect the tread wear indicators. If they
become visible, replace t he tires immediately.
For your safety, you shou ld replace the tires
w hen the minimum tread depth is reached.
