Ignition Switch
The head light is always on when the ign it ion
switch is ON. Leaving the ignition switch ON
w ith the engi ne stopped w ill drain t he battery.
Do not turn the key wh ile rid ing.
Engine Stop Switch
Do not use the engine stop switch except in an
emergency. Doi ng so w hen riding wi ll cause the
engine to sudden ly turn off, making ridi ng unsafe.
If yo u stop the eng ine using the engine stop
switch, turn the ignition switch off. Failing to do
so w il l drain t he battery.
Odometer
The display locks at 999,999 w hen the readout
exceeds 999,999.
Trip meter
Th e tripmeter returns to 0.0 when the readout
exceeds 9,999 .9.
Document Bag
The owner's manual, regi stration, and
insurance information can be stored in the
plastic document bag located under t he rear
seat. ~

Ignition Cut-off System
A ban ki ng (lean angle) sensor automatically stops
the engine an d fuel pump if t he motorcycle fa lls
ove r. To reset the sensor, you must turn the
ign it ion switch to OFF and back to the ON position
before the engine can be restarted .
