Side doors—

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING WITH KEY
Insert the key into the keyhole and turn
it.
To lock: Turn the key forward.
To unlock: Turn the key backward.
Passenger's door locks simultaneously
with the driver's door. Turning the key
once will unlock the driver's door and
twice in succession will unlock passen-
ger's door.

Coupe—When unlocking a door when both
doors are locked, the interior light and
engine switch light will come on and re-
main on for about 15 seconds before fad-
ing out. (For further information, see "Inte-
rior light" on page 123 and
(ignition) switch light and quarter trim
courtesy light" on page 124 in Section
1−5.)
Convertible—When unlocking a door when
both doors are locked, the engine switch
light, quarter trim courtesy light and per-
sonal lights will come on and remain on
for about 15 seconds before fading out.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING
INSIDE LOCK KNOB
Move the lock knob.
To lock: Push the knob forward.
To unlock: Pull the knob backward.
The doors can be opened by pulling the
inside handle even if the lock knobs are
in the locked position.
