    T E L E P H O N E Dial Mode This phone comes set to operate with touch tone service. If you have dial pulse (rotary) service, you will need to reset the dial mode. If you hear clicks (not tones) when you dial, you have dial pulse (rotary) service.

    T E L E P H O N E Light is on when phone line is in use. Store a pause in a memory dialing number. Dial numbers in telephone memory. Store numbers in telephone memory. Temporary Tone The telephone can store 9 telephone numbers, each up to 24 digits long.

    A N S W E R I N G S Y S T E M O P E R A T I O N Answering Calls When the system answers a call, the caller hears the announce- ment you recorded, followed by a beep. After the beep, the system begins recording your caller’s message.
