SWITCHES - HORN - LIGHTS -
REAR MUDGUARD - EXHAUST PIPE

If the fan turns, check the thermoswitch in the following manner:
Drain the cooling fluid.
Remove the thermoswitch from the radiator.
Heat the cooling fluid in a container and suspend the thermoswitch in it.
Check the temperature where the switch opens and closes.
Make sure there is no continuity at room temperature; gradually raise the
temperature of the cooling fluid.
The switch must have continuity at 92 ± 3°C.
HORN
Remove the horn mounting bolt and remove horn.
Disconnect the wires to the horn and connect a fully charged 12V battery
to the horn's terminals; the horn should sound.
REAR MUDGUARD
Remove the seat mounting bolts.
Remove the seat by pulling it towards the rear (about 2 or 3 cm) then lift it
up (fig. 5).
Remove tail light.
Remove rear turn indicators.
Disconnect the rear turn signals and tail light wires.
Remove the four mounting screws (fig. 6).
Remove the brake fluid reservoir without disconnecting the fluid tubing.
Pull out the electrical system.
Remove rear mudguard.
Assemble components in reverse order of disassembly.
EXHAUST PIPE
Do not work on the exhaust pipe when it's still hot.
Remove the heat shield; loosen the silencer fastening clamp; remove the
silencer to frame mounting bolts (fig. 7).
Remove silencer.
Remove the four exhaust pipe to cylinder mounting nuts.
Remove the exhaust pipe (fig. 8).
Assemble components in reverse order of disassembly.
After reassembly, make sure there are no exhaust leaks.
