Disclaimer

Damages claims against Fronius are excluded unless they are based on gross negligence
or willful intent on the part of Fronius.
The installer and the operator shall comply with the safety rules given by Fronius and re-
gional applicable guidelines, standards, and regulations in connection with work on photo-
voltaic systems. The safety rules can be found in the operating instructions provided upon
delivery. The installer as well as the operator are fully liable for damages and costs which
arise due to noncompliance of this provision.
This Fronius product has an internal Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) Type 1. This com-
ponent detects and separates serial arcs in your PV system, thus meeting the require-
ments of standard UL1699B Outline of Investigation for Photovoltaic (PV) DC Arc Fault
Circuit Protection (Issue Number 2, January 14, 2013). In addition, Fronius accepts no lia-
bility for damages that may result from the occurrence of arcs. Claims against Fronius due
to reduced yield or yield loss during the time the inverter is shut down by the AFCI are ex-
cluded. Costs that may arise due to inverter being shut down by the AFCI shall be borne
by the operator.

Disposal

Should your inverter be replaced at some future date, Fronius will accept the obsolete
equipment back and provide for its proper recycling.
