Selecting the surround
effect
Press SOUND FIELD +/– repeatedly to
select the effect you desire.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
2CH ST y 2CH SURR y VIRTUAL*
* These sound fields can be selected during DVD
function except when:
– The system is in stand by for recording or is
recording.
– The pitch of the music is adjusted with KEY
CONTROL
– Karaoke mode is selected.

Adjusting the equalizer

You can adjust the sound by raising or lowering
the levels of specific frequency ranges.
Use buttons on the unit for the operation.

Press EQ EDIT repeatedly to select a
frequency band.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
LOW t MID t HIGH

Press EQ EDIT +/– repeatedly to adjust
the level.
