Ensure the red (+) and black (-) battery cables are connected properly to the battery terminals. Ensure both battery harnesses that extend from the batteries are plugged into their mating harness leading to the charger. Maintain but do not exceed the psi/bar/kPa air pressure rating indicated on each tire. Plan your route ahead to avoid as many hills, cracked, broken, or soft surfaces as possible. Set the speed adjustment dial to your desired speed. Press your thumb against the appropriate side of the throttle control lever. Although the controller is shut down, power will still be supplied to the scooter’s lighting system. If the power down timer feature takes effect, perform the following steps to resume normal operation. 1. Turn the key to the “off” position. 2. Turn the key back to the “on” position. Always disassemble or assemble your scooter on a level, dry surface with sufficient room for you to work and move around your scooter. Keep in mind that the disassembled sections of the scooter take up more floor space than the assembled scooter.
