Recording Chords (Step Recording)

In Step Recording, you can record the precise change timing of chords and Sections (such as Intro, Main and
Ending) of the current Style on the single display. After the operations are finished, the recorded informations
or events will be converted to the actual MIDI notes or Song data.

Press the SONG [REC] and SONG [J] (STOP) buttons simultaneously.
A blank Song ("New Song") is called up for recording.
NOTE
Selecting a blank Song initializes the panel settings.

Select the Style you want to use in the Song.

Call up the operation display.

Press the [G] (STEP REC) button to call up the STEP RECORD display.

Start Step Recording by using the [A]–[J] buttons and [1
Refer to the example on

Press the SONG [J] (STOP) button (or press the [C] button) to return to the top of the
Song, then hear the newly entered Song by pressing the [F/ K] (PLAY/PAUSE) button.
