3 AWARD BIOS SETUP UTILITY
Date
The date format is <day>, <month>, <date>, <year>. Day displays a day, from
Sunday to Saturday. Month displays the month, from January to December.
Date displays the date, from 1 to 31. Year displays the year, from 1994 to
2079.
Time
The time format is <hour>, <minute>, <second>. The time is based on the 24-
hour military-time clock. For example, 1 PM. is 13:00:00. Hour displays hours
from 00 to 23. Minute displays minutes from 00 to 59. Second displays sec-
onds from 00 to 59.
IDE Primary Master, IDE Primary Slave, IDE Secondary Master and IDE
Secondary Slave
Move the cursor to "IDE Primary Master", "IDE Primary Slave", "IDE Second-
ary Master", or "IDE Secondary Slave" field, then press <Enter>.

IDE HDD Auto Detection
Detects the parameters of the drive. The parameters will automati-
cally be shown on the screen.
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave
If you wish to define your own drive type manually, select "Manual".
The drive type information should be included in the documentation
from your hard disk vendor. If you select "Auto", the BIOS will auto-
detect the HDD and CD-ROM drive at the POST stage and show the
IDE for the HDD and CD-ROM drive. If a hard disk has not been
installed, select "None".
