Deactivating the front passenger
airbags (if fitted)
To fit a rear-facing child seat on the
front passenger seat, it is essential to
deactivate the front passenger seat
additional restraint systems (front
and side airbags
pretensioner) and
submarining airbag.
To deactivate the airbags: switch
off the ignition, press and turn the
lock 6 to the OFF position.
