4.11 Adjusting the Timing Belt Tension

Required tool:
• Phillips screwdriver (JIS #2 or equivalent)

Make sure that the printer is in power off mode, then disconnect the power cord from
the AC outlet.

Remove the left housing cover from the printer.
Refer to Section 5.1.1 Remove the Left Housing Cover

Disconnect the motor connector . from
the main (CONT) PCB.
4
Remove four screws 3 attaching the
gearbox to the printer.
5
Loosen the screw $ of the tension
bracket /.
Note
Do not remove the screw $.
