PISTON AND CYLINDER
Put the thermostat in a vessel with water and warm
the water to the opening temperature of the
thermostat.
When reaching the nominal temperature the
thermostat must be opened completely.
After cooling down under the nominal temperature
the thermostat must close again.
Opening temperature: 65° C
Nominal temperature: 85° C

THERMOSWITCH

Immerse the thermoswitch into a vessel with water
so that its thread is completely covered with water.
Heat up the water to the respective nominal
temperature and measure the resistance.
90 °C – 100 °C:
18 °C – 22 °C:

CYLINDER

Adjust the piston to the bottom dead center before
removing the cylinder.
Carefully remove the cylinder and the base gasket.
Fill the opening of the engine with a rag in order to
avoid dirt or foreign material from entering the
crankcase.
