T o c h a n g e t h e d i r e c t i o n i n w h i c h s n o w i s t h r o w n , s q u e e z e
the button on the joy-stick and pivot the joy-stick to the
right or to the left.

To change the angle/distance which snow is thrown, pivot
t h e j o y - s t i c k f o r w a r d o r b a c k w a r d .
The left and right wheel steering trigger controls are located on
t h e u n d e r s i d e o f t h e h a n d l e s .

S q u e e z e t h e r i g h t c o n t r o l t o t u r n r i g h t .

Squeeze the left control to turn left.
CAUTION: Operate the snow thrower in open areas
u n t i l v o u a r e f a m i l i a r w i t h t h e s e c o n t r o l s .

The chute clean-out tool is conveniently fastened to the rear of
t h e a u g e r h o u s i n g w i t h a m o u n t i n g c l i p . S h o u l d s n o w a n d i c e
b e c o m e l o d g e d i n t h e c h u t e a s s e m b l y d u r i n g o p e r a t i o n , p r o c e e d
a s f o l l o w s t o s a f e l y c l e a n t h e c h u t e a s s e m b l y a n d c h u t e o p e n i n g :
1 . R e l e a s e b o t h t h e A u g e r C o n t r o l a n d t h e D r i v e C o n t r o l .
2. Stop the engine by removing the ignition key.
3 . R e m o v e t h e c l e a n - o u t t o o l f r o m t h e c l i o w h i c h s e c u r e s i t t o
t h e r e a r o f t h e a u g e r h o u s i n g .
4 . U s e t h e s h o v e l - s h a p e d e n d o f t h e c l e a n - o u t t o o l t o
d i s l o d g e a n d s c o o p a n y s n o w a n d i c e w h i c h h a s f o r m e d i n
and near the chr-rte assemblv.
5 .
R e f a s t e n t h e c l e a n - o u t t o o l t o t h e m o u n t i n g c l i p o n t h e
r e a r o f t h e a u g e r h o u s i n g , r e i n s e r t t h e i g n i t i o n k e y a n d
start the snow thrower's engine.
W h i l e s t a n d i n g i n t h e o p e r a t o r ' s p o s i t i o n ( b e h i n d t h e s n o w
thrower), engage the auger control for a few seconds to clear any
r e m a i n i n g s n o w a n d i c e f r o m t h e c h u t e a s s e m b l y .
