Update Process Flow Chart

This flow chart is a condensed version of the procedures
outlined on the preceding pages.
Log in at RiderX.com
Select DIGITAL DISPLAYS
Register new IDD
or Enter existing IDD #
Select TRAILS or
TRAILS & MAP data
Save to computer
(Choose Save, not Run)
Install USB drive
to computer
Extract files and
copy to USB drive
Install USB drive
to vehicle connector
Turn key to ON/RUN
(Start engine if no battery)
Navigate to
SYSTEM INFO
Select UPDATE
(Press Key 5 twice)
(gci.bin or tar.gz)
Select UPDATE
(Key 5: Blue Arrow)
Confirm update
(Key 5: Green Arrow)
IDD reboots
Remove USB drive
Verify update in
SYSTEM INFO
Verify update in
MAPS/TRAILS display
(Snowmobiles only)
