Preparing frothy milk

q Open intake valve 13/b with knob 13/a.
q Firmly connect milk container 14 to intake valve 13/b
or
q Immerse hose 13/d into a utensil containing milk.
q Place a suitable cup under nozzle 13.
q Slowly rotate function selector 2 to =.
The milk is now drawn in and frothed.

Risk of scalding!
When the function selector 2 is set to =, the nozzle may
spurt slightly. Escaping steam is very hot.
Do not touch nozzle 13 or direct at people.
q Before all the milk has been drained out of the utensil:
end the process by rotating the function selector 2 back

q Remove and clean the milk container 14.

q Take the hose 13/d out of the utensil containing the milk.
Note: When nozzle 13 and hose 13/d have cooled down,
rinse immediately with clear water and clean
the appliance / Cleaning the nozzle".
Dried residue is very difficult to remove and impairs formation
of the frothy milk.
Tip: Preferably use semi skimmed milk.
Milk drinks, such as cocoa, can be prepared in the same
way as frothy milk. The frothy milk can be optimised by
rotating the knob 13/a slightly.
