Press button 6 to add measured values or press button 3 to sub-
tract measured values. The result will be shown at the bottom of
the display after "=", and the current measured value will be
shown above it.
Press button 4 to exit addition/subtraction.
Changing the Unit of Measure (3 601 K72 9K0, 3 601 K72 9C0)
Switch the measuring tool off.
Hold down the On/Off button 5. When the required unit of meas-
ure is displayed, let go of the On/Off button 5. After releasing,
the measuring tool switches itself on with the selected setting.
Switching the Sound On and Off
The sound is switched on by default.
Switch the measuring tool off.
Hold down the measuring button 2 until "Sound OFF" appears
on the display 1. After releasing, the measuring tool switches it-
self on with the selected setting.
Switch the measuring tool off to switch the sound back on. Hold
down the measuring button 2 until "Sound On" appears on the
display. After releasing, the measuring tool switches itself on
with the selected setting.
Display Illumination
The display illumination is continuously switched on. When no button is pressed, the
display illumination is dimmed after approx. 10 seconds to preserve the batteries/re-
chargeable batteries. When no button is pressed for after approx. 30 seconds, the
display illumination goes out.
