3. Locate the front bezel. See "Computer components" on page 5.
4. Remove the front bezel by releasing the three plastic tabs on the left side and pivoting the front bezel
outward.

5. Align the three plastic tabs on the right side of the new front bezel with the corresponding holes in the
chassis. Then, pivot the front bezel inwards until it snaps into position on the left side.

Replacing the optical drive

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the "Read
this first: Important safety information" on page iii.
To replace the optical drive, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
