AUTO-EXPOSURE LOCK

Especially useful when scanning bracketed exposures, AE (auto exposure) lock lets you scan
multiple images with the same initial exposure settings. AE Lock saves the automatic exposure
settings determined when an image is prescanned. Subsequent images are prescanned using
the 'locked' exposure settings.
• AE-lock does not save exposure corrections made in the Variations, or Tone Curves and
Histogram dialog box.

Setting AE-Lock

After prescanning the image...

reinitialized.
