Press the ▲▼ button to select Format and press the OK button
to prompt a sub-menu.

It is strongly recommended that the USB device is
dedicated only for this unit. Various external data contain
in the USB device might damage DVR file system and requires formatting.
PVR File System Type
The item PVR File System Type is highlighted and press the ◄► button to choose the File System
and press the OK button to start the formatting.
FAT32
This file system is compatible with all computers, so that the disc be read after admission.
Hi Speed FS
Hi Speed FS is compatible to FAT32.
Recording speed is optimized through pre-allocation of the space for recording and Time Shift.

Time Shift Size

After the disk format is finished, you will have the possibility of defining memory space for Timeshift
purpose on the pop-up window.
The item Time Shift Size is highlighted, press the ◄► button to make the input.
Press the ▼ button to highlight OK and press OK to confirm and return.
Speed
Once USB device is checked, the USB data transfer rate will be displayed.
