1. Place the workpiece you intend to saw on a level, suitable surface and secure it to prevent
slipping.
2. Mark the line you intend to saw along.
3. Set the saw depth (see chapter "Start-up", section "Setting the saw depth").
4. Connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket.
5. Firmly hold the saw with both hands and place it on the workpiece so that the guide lugs are
on the saw line.
6. Push the On / Off switch forward and hold it. Wait a second until the saw blade has reached
the maximum saw speed.
7. Push the locking lever and allow the saw to carefully saw into the workpiece up to the limit
stop.
8. Always guide the saw with both hands in a forward direction along the saw line.
9. Release the On / Off switch and wait until the saw blade has come to a complete stop.

❐ Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐ The saw blade may be very hot after sawing. Allow it to cool off before you clean it.
❐ The saw blades are sharp! Be careful when cleaning them.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the device.
• Ensure that the device has been deactivated and that the mains plug has been pulled!
• When needed, wipe the saw blades off with a soft, dry cloth.
• Occasionally clean dust off of the motor vents. Use a vacuum cleaner, a scrubber or a brush
for this.
• If needed, wipe the device off with a damp, soft cloth. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
