❐ Check the device before each use! The device may only be operated if:
– it does not exhibit any visible damages;
– no previous errors or malfunctions have occurred;
– all parts of the device are securely mounted;
– all adjusting tools or screw keys have been removed from the device.
❐ Kickback risk! Be absolutely sure to take the following precautionary measures:
– Always guide the saw; never guide the workpiece!
– Always hold the device firmly with both hands.
– Never pull the saw back!
– Never tilt the saw blade!
– When sawing, the protective shield must be situated securely and completely on the
workpiece.
❐ When working, never hold the workpiece with your hand! Clamp the workpiece in place. Do
not saw any workpieces, which are too small to be clamped in place.
❐ Only use saw blades, which are suitable for the applicable workpiece material.
❐ Ensure that you do not cover the front or back vents when sawing.
❐ Only guide the saw by applying moderate pressure!
Wear ear protection when working with the device.
Wear protective eyewear when working with the device.
Wear a dust mask when working with the device.
Do not wear protective gloves when working with the device.
Wear firm-fitting work clothes when working with the device.
Cover long hair or, if necessary, wear a hair net.
