pan completely
with a well-fitting
lid, cookie sheet
or flat tray. Use a multi-purpose
dry chemical

foam-type
fire extinguisher.
Flaming grease
outside a pan can be put out by
covering
it with baking soda or, if available,
by
using a multi-purpose
dry chemical
or foam-type
fire extinguisher.

back drafting.

guidelines
and
safety standards,
such as those published
by the National
Fire Protection
Association
(NFPA),
the American
Society
for Heating,
Refrigeration
and Air Conditioning
Engineers
(ASHRAE)
and the local code authorities.

in accordance
with local building
code requirements.
