12. Always ensure strap is properly adjusted.
13. Maintain a firm grip on both handles while blade is in use. Keep blade away from
body and under waist height.

6. Switch from Brushcutter to Trimmer

Removing blade – figures 7, 8, 9
Monunt adaptor (A) in the hole in the gearhousing (figure 15,16).
Mount washer (B), make sure the washer is monunted the correct way (figure 15,17).
Mount washer (C) outher, make sure it is mounted the correct way (figure 15, 18).
Place the provided allen wrench in the hole in the gearhousing (figure 19), make sure it is
in the grove of the washer (B), and lock this.
Mount the trimmerhead, counterclockwise, make sure it is tightenen proberly (figure 20)
Remove the allenwrench before use.
1. nsert the Allen wrench provided into trimmer gear hole and bushing to secure the
shaft.
2. Screw off the bolt.
3. Remove lock ring, cup, washer, blade and bushings.
Note! Keep blade parts together for later use.
Fitting trimmer head – figures 10, 11, 12

Mount the adaptor provided.

Insert the Allen wrench provided into trimmer gear hole and bushing to secure the
shaft.
3.
Fit trimmer head by turning counterclockwise.
4.
Tighten trimmer head securely before use.

7. Replacing Cord

1. Stop engine.
2. Press each side of cord housing. Remove lid.
3. Remove roll by pulling. Allow spring to remain on spool. Remove any cord residue.
Take 3-4 m of cord (2.4 mm) and double it up.
4. Insert both ends into the 2 holes on the roll. Wind cord onto roll in direction of arrow.
Avoid twisting cord. When twine is fully on roll, cut and insert the two cut ends
through the guide holes.
5. Assemble cord housing in reverse order, starting with spring. Place cord in cord
housing holes.
6. Re-place cover. Check cover is secure.

Always ensure trimmer head is secured tightly.
