Battery Replacement – Remote
Control Receiver
The remote control receiver requires four
AA batteries. To ensure maximum
battery life and optimum performance we
recommend "Long Life" batteries.
To replace the batteries:
• Remove the bottom front casting and
"ash pan" cover.
• Slide the receiver unit from its
location box at the bottom right side
of the fire (see figure 13).
• Slide open the receiver unit cover.
• Replace with new batteries fitting the
firmly to the connectors.
• Replace the receiver cover
• Refit the receiver unit into its location
box making sure that the sensor is at
the left side (see figure 13).
Battery Replacement – Remote
Control Handset
The remote control handset requires one PP3 battery. To ensure maximum battery life
and optimum performance we recommend "Long Life" batteries.
To replace the battery remove the cover from the bottom of the handset. Exchange the
battery and refit the cover.
