INTRODUCTION
Read all of SAFETY and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.
5. Park Brake and Neutral Indicator Lights
Found on the instrument panel, the parking brake light illuminates when the parking brake is engaged. The neutral light
illuminates the neutral position is selected.
6. 2/4 Wheel Drive Switch
This switch allows the operator to select 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive operation.
7. 12-Volt Power Outlet
Found in the passenger side glove box, the 12-volt outlet supplies continuous power for additional accessories equipped
with a 12-volt plug (10 amps maximum).
8. Cup Holder
A cup holder is supplied for the benefit of vehicle occupants.
9. Accelerator Pedal
The accelerator pedal controls engine speed. With the engine run-
ning and the direction selector set to either forward or reverse,
pressing the accelerator causes the vehicle to move in the selected
direction.
10. Brake Pedal
The brake pedal is found on the floor to the left of the accelerator
pedal. The brake pedal function is to slow or stop the moving vehicle.
This vehicle has four wheel hydraulic disc brakes.
11. Horn
The horn, located on the floorboard, will sound when pressed.
12. Parking Brake
The hand operated parking brake is found in the center of the floor-
board. The function of the parking brake is to keep the vehicle from
accidental movement when the vehicle is stopped.
The brake is engaged when the handle is vertical and disengaged
when the handle is almost parallel to the floor.
When leaving the vehicle without an operator, engage the parking
brake by lifting the handle until it locks in position. To release the park-
ing brake, push the handle down toward the floor.
13. Direction Selector
Found on the panel below the seat, this lever is used to select For-
ward (up position), Neutral (center position) or Reverse (down posi-
tion).
14. Differential Lock
The differential lock is located in the seat panel below the driver seat. The vehicle is has a manually operated locking
rear differential. With the lever is in the up-position the rear differential is locked and power is distributed to both of the
axle drive wheels. With the lever in the down-position the differential is unlocked and power will be transferred to the
wheel that is losing traction. When the wheel gets traction, the power will be transferred to both wheels. Only use the
differential lock on loose terrain such as sand, loose dirt, mud or gravel.
