    PRE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: Due to high temperatures, the appliance should be located out of traffi c and away from furniture and draperies. GENERAL This ‘direct vent’ gas appliance must be installed by a qualifi ed installer in accordance with local building codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the current CAN/CSA- B149.1 or .2 Installation Code (in Canada) or the current National Fuel Gas Code Z223.1-NFPA 54 when installed in the United States.

    PRE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS The wall connection must be carried out using the concentric fl ue system 5” - 8”. The fl ue gases are evacuated outside by means of natural draft through the internal pipe of 5”, whereas the combustion air is supplied between the pipes of Ø5” and Ø8”. The appliance can be installed in a completely sealed or mechanically ventilated house without extra ventilation and/or fume extraction.

    CLEARANCES WARNING: Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe installation. Failure to follow instructions exactly can create a fi re hazard. The appliance must be installed on a non-combustible fl oor. If installed on, for example, carpet or vinyl fl ooring, the appliance shall be placed on a plate of non-combustible material extending the full width and depth of the appliance.
