The compressor comes on less and less often and for shorter periods of
time.
The temperature in the appliance rises.
Problem
The temperature in
the appliance is too
high.
The food begins to
defrost.
Display warnings
Problem
"F0 to F9" appears in
the display.
The alarm symbol ;
lights up in the
display and an alarm
sounds.

Cause
This is not a fault.
The room temperature is
lower than the ambient
temperature for which the
appliance is designed.
Operating in a room which
is too cold will cause the
compressor to switch off for
too long, causing the
freezer to become too
warm.
Cause
There is a fault.
The door alarm has been
activated.
Remedy
^ Adjust the temperature.
^ Check the temperature
again after 24 hours.
^ See "Installation -
Location".
^ Increase the temperature
of the room.
Remedy
^ Call the Miele Service
Department.
^ Close the appliance door.
The alarm symbol ; will
go out and the alarm will
stop.
