Selecting further settings

Certain settings on the appliance can
only be selected in settings mode.
When in settings mode, the door
alarm and other fault messages are
automatically deactivated although
the alarm symbol ; appears in the
display.

0
Activating or deactivating the
safety lock

Switching acoustic signals on/off

Altering the display brightness

Switching Sabbath mode on/off
These settings are described in more
detail below.

Safety lock 0

The safety lock can be activated to
prevent:
– the appliance being switched off by
mistake,
– the temperature being changed by
mistake,
– the Super freeze function being
selected by mistake,
– settings being adjusted by mistake (it
is only possible to deactivate the
lock).
This prevents the appliance being
switched off or settings adjusted
without your knowledge, by children, for
example.
Activating or deactivating the lock
^ Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection will
appear in the display and the 0 symbol
flashes.
^ Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The last selected setting flashes and
the 0 symbol lights up in the display.
