DIRECT VENT AND COLINEAR VENT EXAMPLES

In direct vent applications, the minimum distance between the two
pipes is three inches and the maximum distance is 24 inches. The
flue exhaust and air inlet can be terminated with either a PTrap or
two 90° elbows as shown in Figures 13 and 14.
