A Preset Position is a user-defined location where the camera can be pointed, zoomed
in, and focused. Preset positions can be defined and labeled if the camera supports
this. Each preset can have an independent Dwell and Speed setting for use with the
Tour 2 Function.

Inside Setup, click the PTZ Setup tab and select a camera from the Channel List.
Select the Pan/Tilt Connection check box and select the appropriate PTZ protocol.

Click the Controller button to open the PTZ Graphical Controller.
In the Preset options box, select a Preset from the list to modify (a red box will

appear around the Preset).
Use the controls on the Graphical Controller to move the selected camera to the

desired position.

Enter a Dwell Time and Speed Setting. This is used for the Tour 2 function (Each
preset can have a different Dwell and Speed setting).

Click the Set button once the camera is in the desired position.
Enter a name in the new window and click OK.

Click the video displayed by the PTZ camera on the Live View Display.

Using the keyboard, press the number keys corresponding with the Preset
positions.

Click the numeric buttons on the on-screen PTZ controller.
The camera will move to the saved Preset.

Presets can also be activated using the on-screen PTZ controller. Open the
controller and click a preset number button.
