Vorwort Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Metz Produkt entschieden haben. Wir freuen uns, Sie als Kunde begrüßen zu dürfen. Natürlich können Sie es kaum erwarten, das Blitzgerät in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es lohnt sich aber, die Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen, denn nur so lernen Sie, mit dem Gerät problemlos umzugehen. -

2 System-Blitzfunktionen Die System-Blitzfunktionen sind speziell auf das Kamerasystem abgestimmte Blitzfunktionen. Batterien austauschen Die Akkus/Batterien sind leer bzw. verbraucht, wenn die Blitzfolgezeit (Zeit vom Auslösen eines Blitzes mit voller Lichtleistung, z.B. bei M, bis zum erneuten Aufleuchten der Blitzbereitschaftsanzeige ) über 60 Sekunden ansteigt. • Blitzgerät mit dem Hauptschalter ausschalten. • Den Batteriefachdeckel nach vorne schieben und aufklappen. -

4.2 Belichtungskontrollanzeige Die Belichtungskontrollanzeige „o.k.“ leuchtet für ca. 3 Sekunden, wenn die Aufnahme in den TTL-Blitzbetriebsarten (TTL, Vorblitz-TTL, ADI-Messung; siehe 7) richtig belichtet wurde! Erfolgt keine Belichtungskontrollanzeige „o.k.“ die Aufnahme unterbelichtet und Sie müssen die nächst kleinere Blendenzahl ein- stellen (z.B. anstatt Blende 11 die Blende 8) oder die Entfernung zum Motiv bzw. zur Reflexfläche (z.B. -

Reichweitenanzeige im manuellen Blitzbetrieb M Im manuellen Blitzbetrieb M wird im Display der Entfernungswert angezeigt, der für eine korrekte Blitzbelichtung des Motivs einzuhalten ist. Die Anpassung an die jeweilige Aufnahmesituation kann z.B. durch ändern der Objektivblende oder durch Wahl einer manuellen Teillichtleistung (siehe 7.2) erreicht werden. Überschreitung des Anzeigebereichs Im Display werden Reichweiten bis maximal 199 m bzw. -

Einstellvorgang • Taste „Mode“ so oft drücken, bis im Display „ Die Einstellung wird sofort wirksam. Schärfentiefe begrenzt werden soll! Das Blitzgerät unterstützt die Kurzzeitsynchronisation in den TTL-Blitzbetriebsarten und M. Physikalisch bedingt, wird jedoch durch die Kurzzeitsynchronisation die Leitzahl, und damit auch die Reichweite des Blitzgerätes zum Teil erheblich eingeschränkt! Beachten Sie daher die Reichweitenanzeige am Display des Blitzgerätes! Die Kurzzeitsynchronisation wird automatisch ausgeführt, wenn an der Kamera manuell oder automatisch durch das Belichtungsprogramm eine kürzere Verschlusszeit als die Blitzsynchronzeit eingestellt ist. - Page 10 Auto-Zoom. Wenn das Blitzgerät mit einer Kamera betrieben wird, die Daten der Objektivbrennweite überträgt, passt sich die Zoom-Position des Hauptreflektors automatisch der Objektivbrennweite an. Nach dem Einschalten des Blitzgerätes wird im Display „Zoom“ und die aktuelle Zoom-Position des Hauptreflektors angezeigt. Die automatische Anpassung erfolgt für Objektivbrennweiten ab 24 mm.

Weitwinkelstreuscheibe Mit der integrierten Weitwinkelstreuscheibe können Brennweiten ab 18 mm ausgeleuchtet werden (Kleinbild-Format). Weitwinkelstreuscheibe aus dem Hauptreflektor Anschlag herausziehen und loslassen. Die Weitwinkelstreuscheibe automatisch nach unten. Der Hauptreflektor wird automatisch in die erforderliche Position gesteuert. Am Display werden die Entfernungsangaben und der Zoomwert auf 18 mm korrigiert. - Page 12 Einstellung der Remote-Betriebsart Vom Sony-Remote-Betrieb werden die Blitzbetriebsarten TTL und Manuell M, sowie die Kurzzeitsynchronisation HSS unterstützt. Die Auswahl der Remote–Betriebsart erfolgt mit der Taste „Mode“. Dazu die Taste „Mode“ so oft drücken, bis das Symbol für die gewünschte Remote-Betriebsart „TTL“ bzw. „M“ blinkt. Die Einstellung wird sofort wirksam.

7.3 Automatische synchronisatie bij korte belichtingstijden (HSS) Verschillende camera’s ondersteunen de automatische synchronisatie bij korte belichtingstijden (zie de gebruiksaanwijzing van de camera). Met deze flitsfunc- tie is het mogelijk, ook bij kortere tijden dan de flitssynchronisatietijd een flitser te gebruiken. Deze functie is interessant bij bijv. portretten in een heldere omge- ving, als door een ver geopend diafragma (bijv. -

9 Bijzondere functies (‘Select’) Afhankelijk van het type camerastaan verschillende, bijzondere functies ter beschikking. Voor het oproepen en instellen van de bijzondere functies moet er daarom eerst een uitwisseling van gegevens tussen camera en flitser plaats hebben gevonden, bijv. door het aantippen van de ontspanknop op de camera. Het oproepen van de individuele bijzondere functies vindt plaats met de knopcombina- tie ‘Select’, dat betekent dat u tegelijk op de toetsen ( - ) c.q. -

Voorbeeld: U gebruikt een zoomobjectief met een bereik aan brandpuntsafstanden van 35 tot 105 mm. In dit voorbeeld stelt u de stand van de zoomreflector van de flitser in op 35 mm. Terugzetten naar autozoom • Tip de ontspanknop op de camera even aan, zodat er een uitwisseling van gegevens tussen camera en flitser plaats kan vinden. - Page 52 Het deactiveren van de functie van Remote-slaafflitser: • Bij de op de camera aangebrachte flitser de Remote-functie ('Wireless', c.q. De controller- en slaafflitsers die bij een zelfde Remote-systeem horen moeten alle op hetzelfde kanaal worden ingesteld. De instelling van het Remote-kanaal op de controller (de in de camera ingebouwde flitser) vindt automatisch plaats bij een uitwisseling van gegevens, als de slaafflitser zich op de camera bevindt en de ontspanknop op de camera even wordt aangetipt. -

9.5 Extended-zoomfunctie (‘Ex’) Bij de extended-zoomfunctie wordt de zoomstand van de hoofdreflector stap lager ingesteld dan de brandpuntsafstand van het objectief. De daaruit resulterende, verbrede, grotere verlichtingshoek zorgt in ruimten voor extra strooilicht (reflecties) en daardoor voor een zachter flitslicht. Voorbeeld: De brandpuntsafstand van het objectief op de camera bedraagt 50 mm. -
