Vorwort Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Metz Produkt entschieden haben. Wir freuen uns, Sie als Kunde begrüßen zu dürfen. Natürlich können Sie es kaum erwarten, das Blitzgerät in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es lohnt sich aber, die Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen, denn nur so lernen Sie, mit dem Gerät problemlos umzugehen. -

Wenn Sie das Blitzgerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entfernen Sie bitte die Batterien aus dem Gerät. Batterien austauschen Die Akkus/Batterien sind leer bzw. verbraucht, wenn die Blitzfolgezeit (Zeit vom Auslösen eines Blitzes mit voller Lichtleistung, z.B. bei M, bis zum erneuten Aufleuchten der Blitzbereitschaftsanzeige ) über 60 Sekunden ansteigt. -

4.2 Belichtungskontrollanzeige Die Belichtungskontrollanzeige „o.k.“ leuchtet für ca. 5 Sekunden, wenn die Aufnahme in den TTL-Blitzbetriebsarten ( wurde! Reichweitenanzeige im manuellen Blitzbetrieb M Im manuellen Blitzbetrieb M wird im Display der Entfernungswert angezeigt, der für eine korrekte Blitzbelichtung des Motivs einzuhalten ist. Die Anpassung an die jeweilige Aufnahmesituation kann z.B. durch ändern der Objektivblende oder durch Wahl einer manuellen Teillichtleistung (siehe 7.2) erreicht werden. 9 Sonderfunktionen („Select“) Je nach Kameratyp stehen verschiedene Sonderfunktionen zur Verfügung. Zum Aufrufen und Einstellen der Sonderfunktionen muss deshalb vorher ein Datenaustausch zwischen Blitzgerät und Kamera stattfinden, z.B. durch Antippen des Kameraauslösers. Das Aufrufen der einzelnen Sonderfunktionen erfolgt mit der Tastenkombination „Select“, das heißt, dass die Tasten ( - ) bzw. ( + ) gleich- zeitig betätigt werden müssen. -

Beispiel: Sie benutzen ein Zoomobjektiv mit einem Brennweitenbereich von 35 mm bis 105 mm. In diesem Beispiel stellen Sie die Position des Hauptreflektors des Blitzgerätes auf 35 mm. Rückstellen auf Auto-Zoom • Kameraauslöser antippen, damit ein Datenaustausch zwischen Blitzgerät und Kamera stattfindet. -

- Bei der Anzeige „OFF“ ist der Remote-Slave-Betrieb deaktiviert. Die Einstellung wird sofort wirksam. 11 Blitzsynchronisation 11.1 Automatische Blitzsynchronzeitsteuerung Je nach Kameratyp und Kamerabetriebsart wird bei Erreichen der Blitzbereitschaft die Verschlusszeit auf die Blitzsynchronzeit umgeschaltet (siehe Kamerabedienungsanleitung). Kürzere Verschlusszeiten als die Blitzsynchronzeit können nicht eingestellt wer- den, bzw. werden auf die Blitzsynchronzeit umgeschaltet. 15 Hilfe bei Störungen Sollte es einmal vorkommen dass z.B. im Display des Blitzgerätes unsinni- ge Anzeigen erscheinen oder das Blitzgerät funktioniert nicht so wie es soll, so schalten Sie das Blitzgerät für ca. 10 Sekunden mit dem Hauptschalter aus. Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Montage des Blitzgerätefußes im Zubehörschuh der Kamera und die Kameraeinstellungen. -

Die Aufnahmen sind zu dunkel. • Das Motiv liegt außerhalb der Reichweite des Blitzgerätes. 9 Bijzondere functies (‘Select’) Afhankelijk van het type camera staan verschillende, bijzondere functies ter beschikking. Voor het oproepen en instellen van de bijzondere functies moet er daarom eerst een uitwisseling van gegevens tussen camera en flitser plaats heb- ben gevonden, bijv. door het aantippen van de ontspanknop op de camera. Het oproepen van de individuele bijzondere functies vindt plaats met de knopcombi- natie ‘Select’, dat betekent dat u tegelijk op de toetsen ( - ) c.q. -

Voorbeeld: U gebruikt een zoomobjectief met een bereik aan brandpuntsafstanden van 35 tot 105 mm. In dit voorbeeld stelt u de stand van de zoomreflector van de flitser in op 35 mm. Terugzetten naar autozoom • Tip de ontspanknop op de camera even aan, zodat er een uitwisseling van gegevens tussen camera en flitser plaats kan vinden. -

- Bij de aanduiding ‘OFF’ is de remote-slaaffunctie gedeactiveerd. De instelling treedt onmiddellijk in werking. Na ong. 5 seconden houdt de aan- duiding op te knipperen en wordt de instelling automatisch opgeslagen. Na de activering van de remote slaaffunctie wordt in het display ‘SL’ aangegeven. Bovendien worden de gewenste slaafgroep (GROUP) en het remote-kanaal (CH) aangegeven. -

Het instellen • Druk zo vaak op de toetscombinatie ‘Select’, dat in het display ‘FB’ knipperend wordt aangegeven. • Stel met de toetsen ( + ) en ( - ) de gewenste instelling in. De mogelijke correc- tiewaarden reiken van 1/3 tot 3 diafragmawaarden in stappen van 1/3 stop. De correctiewaarde wordt altijd positief aangegeven. -

11 Flitssynchronisatie 11.1 Automatische sturing naar de flitssynchronisatietijd Afhankelijk van de camera en de daarop ingestelde camerafunctie wordt, zodra de flitser opgeladen is de belichtingstijd omgeschakeld naar de flitssynchronisa- tietijd (zie de gebruiksaanwijzing van de camera). Kortere tijden dan de flitssynchronisatietijd kunnen niet worden ingesteld, c.q. worden naar de flitssynchronisatietijd omgeschakeld. -

15 Troubleshooting Zou het ooit voorkomen, dat bijv. in het display van de flitser onzinnige aanduidingen verschijnen of dat de flitser niet functioneert zoals hij op grond van zijn instellingen zou behoren te doen, schakel de flitser dan gedurende ong. 10 seconden met de hoofdschakelaar of hij correct in de accessoireschoen van de camera zit alsmede de camera-instellingen. -

De opnamen vertonen aan de onderzijde een schaduw. • Door de parallax tussen objectief en flitser kan het onderwerp in het dichtbij- bereik, afhankelijk van de brandpuntsafstand, aan de onderzijde van het beeld niet geheel worden uitgelicht. Neig de hoofdreflector, c.q. zet de groo- thoekdiffusor voor de reflector. -
