isconnect the negative battery ter-

minal to prevent an accidental short
circuit.

Remove (5) 9/32" hex head screws
from the ashtray cavity.

Remove (4) 9/32" hex head screws
from bottom edge of dash trim
panel.

Unclip fuse box cover and remove
(1) 9/32" hex head screw from fuse
box cavity.

Remove (2) 9/32" hex head screws
from above instrument cluster.

Engage parking brake and place
gear selector in "D1".

Unclip and remove instrument cluster
trim panel.

Remove (1) 9/32" hex head screw
from the left edge of dash trim panel.

Unclip and remove dash trim panel.

Remove (2) 9/32" hex head screws
securing radio. Unplug and remove
radio.

Cut and remove the rear support from
the back of radio cavity. (Figure A)
Continue to kit assembly.
