General cares
Avoid any animal in the kitchen when
the gas cooktop is on. Parts close to
the burners and side board will be hot
and can cause some burns.
Avoid installing the gas cooktop close
to flammable material as curtains,
kitchen clothes, etc.
Be sure that the burner knobs are in
off position when the gas cooktop is
not in use.
In case of power failure, be sure that
the burner knobs are off before using a
match to light the burners.
Never use flames or sparks to locate
gas leaks since this procedure could
cause an explosion. Use a sponge
with soap or liquid detergent foam.
Vacations
Unplug the gas cooktop and cut the
tap gas if you will be out for a long
time.

Precaution in case of gas leakage
When gas can be smelled inside the
house, the following precautions must
be observed:
01. Do not light any kind of flame.
02. Do not operate any electric switch.
03. Do not use the phone or mobile
phones near the cooktop, leave the
room in question and call for help
from an open and ventilated place.
04. Close the gas valve or disconnect
the gas regulator.
05. Check the front panel if all knobs
are in the off position.
06. Open windows and doors for better
ventilation.
07. If the leak is in the gas cylinder,
disconnect the cylinder and take it
to an open, well ventilated space
and call the gas supplier.
08. If the cooktop is fueled by piped
gas or by gas coming from a
central storage (buildings) in lines,
close immediately the gas valves
and call the gas supplier.
09. Call technical service to check on
the problem.
