Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Hunter Xcite. For your safety, comfort, and enjoyment it is
very important to rig your new boat correctly the first time. Please follow the instructions
carefully. This quick start guide assumes that you have a basic knowledge of sailboats and
sailing. If you don't, find a friend who does to help you with the initial set up. Finally, this
quick start guide is intended only to facilitate rigging and assembly, not as a sailing tutorial.

Unpack and Identify All Pieces

Caution: Do not use a knife to open rig box. The sails are packed inside and
could be damaged.
