9 - CD NAMING
(allocating a name to the CD)
(only in CD Changer mode)
This function shall be used to give a name
(max. name length is 8 characters) to the
CDs contained in the CD Changer.
This function can be selected only if in CD
Changer mode.
To name a CD (CD Naming) proceed as
follows:
– the display shows "Name 1:"
– use the button/knob ON/OFF to select
the CD (1 to 10) to name (only active if
all the 10 memories for CD names are
used);
– use button Í to confirm the CD to re-
name
– the first character of the CD name will
flash to show the cursor position
– use the button/knob ON/OFF to select
the letters ("A" to "Z") for composing the
CD name
– use button Í or È to move the cursor
through the characters
– press the MENU
button to confirm

the CD name and to go to the TPM (Track
Program Memory) function
– the display will show as standard the
message "PLAY TRACK: ALL"; selecting
the TPM option "ALL", the display will
show the message "PLAY TRACK: ALL";
otherwise the message "PLAY TRACK: 10
– Y or N" (YES or NO) will be displayed
– use the button/knob ON/OFF to select
between ALL, 1, 2, 3 ... max track no.
– use button Í or È to enter or to ex-
clude the number of the current track
from the TPM list
– press the
MENU button to confirm

the CD playlist thereby moving to the next
menu function
10 - TPM
(CD naming/track selection)
This function can be selected only if a
Compact Disc is loaded.
If the CD already has a name, this will be
shown on the display.
The TPM option enables the following:
– give a name to 10 CDs with max. 12
characters
– to select played tracks (in the original se-
quence and up to 99 max.)
Every CD is identified by the total play-
back time and by the total number of
tracks.
IMPORTANT When entering name or
TPM, the radio will return to the current
source without storing modifications if no
button is pressed for at least 20 seconds.
