Warning: Handlebar hand grips or tube end plugs should be replaced if
damaged, as bare tube ends have been known to cause injury.

Warning: Any replacement forks must have the same rake and same tube
inner diameter as the originally fitted to the bicycle.

Disc brake pad wear and replacement. Remove the brake pads and check
them for wear. If the friction material is less than 1 mm thick, then they
need to be replaced.
IMPORTANT braking distances increase on wet or icy roads.
6.8 Lubrication:
6.8.1. Once a month lubricate all pivot points on derailleur and derailleur chain
guides with chain lube and apply a light oil to the upper fork leg where the
lower leg slides on it. Wipe clean.
6.8.2. Every three months lubricate the brake lever pivots, the gears and
chain with light oil and the brake bushes (not the brake pads or disc) with a
little grease.
6.8.3 Once a year, have your dealer re-grease the headset bearings, front
wheel bearings and pedal bearings.
6.9 Recommended tools for proper maintenance:
Torque wrench with lb•in or N•m gradations 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 mm Allen
wrenches
9, 10, 15 mm open-end wrenches 15 mm box end wrench
Socket wrench, 14, 15, and 19 mm socket T25 Torx wrench
No. 1 Phillips head screwdriver Bicycle tube patch kit, tire pump
