TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Pump does not reach working
pressure
Pump pressure drops during
suddenly use
Motor "buzzes" but fails to start
Motor fails to start
Water leakages
Appliance noisy

Thermostatic valve tripped
Water being sucked from an open
container from a height of more than
0.5 m.
Water being sucked from an external
tank
Inlet water too hot
Nozzle clogged
Inlet fi lter (L) fouled
Power supply voltage too low
Voltage drop due to use of extension
cable
Appliance not used for a long period
of time
Problems with TSS device
No electrical power
Problems with TSS device
Appliance not used for a long period
of time
Seals worn
Safety valve tripped and discharging
Water too hot
Seals worn
High pressure system or pump circuit
not watertight
Nozzle clogged

Remedy
Replace nozzle
Clean fi lter (L) (fi g.5)
Turn on water supply tap fully
Check tightness of hose fi ttings
Switch off the appliance and keep
depressing and releasing the gun
trigger until the water comes out in
a steady fl ow. Switch the appliance
back on again.
Set nozzle (E) on (+) setting (fi g.3)
Wait for correct water temperature to
be restored
Reduce the suction height.
Connect appliance to the mains
water supply
Reduce temperature
Clean nozzle (fi g.5)
Clean fi lter (L) (fi g.5)
Check that the voltage of the mains
power supply line is the same as that
on the plate (fi g.2)
Check characteristics of extension
cable
