Close and lock the battery cover.
NOTE:
Please open the battery compartment cover carefully in order not
to damage it.
If the battery power indicator shows only one block that
means the power is low, you can continue to use the flash.
When the battery indicator turns red, you cannot take still
images or video. Please change batteries at this time.
Any pre-settings will be saved in camera's memory for
about 3 minutes while replacing the batteries. Please
double check your settings before taking more pictures.
5-3 Inserting & Removing the Memory Card
Please turn the camera's power to OFF before inserting or
removing the memory card.
To insert a memory card
Open the battery compartment door by sliding the cover in the
direction of the arrow.
Insert a Secure Digital or a MultiMedia memory card in the
direction of the arrow.

To remove the memory card
Press the memory card down gently.
The memory card will bounce upward.
Pull the memory card out with your fingers.
NOTE:
Before using the camera, please remember to insert the memory
card into the slot. If the memory card is full or there are already
images stored on it, you can turn the Mode Selector to Setup
Mode and then select "Format" to format the memory card. Please
make sure you have downloaded the images and videos to your
computer before formatting your memory card.
A 16MB flash memory is built into the StyleCam Extreme. If
there is a memory card inserted, it will be used to save images
and videos.
If you want to store data on the internal memory, please remove
the memory card first.
The specification of memory card applicable to this
camera is Secure Digital or MultiMedia card
(2/8/16/32/64/128MB).
If the memory card is inserted in the wrong direction, the
card will not fit into the slot. Please pull it out and try a
different direction and DO NOT force the card to fit into
the slot.
