3-3 Power Supply
To power ON the StyleCam Extreme, slide the lens cover towards
the left, the camera will play a short tune to indicate that the power
is ON.
To power OFF the StyleCam Extreme, slide the lens cover
towards the right, the camera will play a closing tune to indicate
that the power is OFF.
Note: The StyleCam Extreme has an auto-power off feature,
which means the camera will automatically power off after
60 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery power.
You may press the Display button to restart the camera if
the power has been turned off.
The following features will be automatically saved even if
your camera has powered off automatically. To reset your
camera to the manufacturer's default setting, you may
select "Reset Default" in the Setup mode. (Please refer
to "Setup Mode" under "Navigating Modes & Menus" on
page 15)

3-4 Shutter Button

The StyleCam Extreme is designed for two-step shutter
function. You will see a [ ] icon appear on the center of the
LCD monitor when you press and hold the Shutter button
down half way to allow the camera to focus on the subject.
To take a picture, press the Shutter button all the way down
and the camera will beep once, release the Shutter button,
and the camera will beep again to indicate that the picture
has been taken.
NOTE: The camera finishes taking a picture AFTER the
second beep. Please do not move the camera until you hear
a second beep. Moving the camera will result in blurry
images.

The following mode selections are available on the
StyleCam Extreme:
1. PC mode (Mass Storage & PC camera)
2.
Capture mode (still images)
3.
Playback mode
4.
Movie Mode (video)
5.
Setup mode

3-6 Menu/OK Button

You can perform different operations in the different modes by
using the Menu/OK button (e.g. scroll menu options or select
pictures, etc).
