Software Installation

7-1 Installing the Mass Storage Driver

To download the images to your computer, you need to install the
Mass Storage driver first. The included software CD contains
StyleCam Extreme Mass Storage Driver, ArcSoft
PhotoImpression and VideoImpression, Adobe Acrobat Reader,
and this Owner's Manual. Please follow the instructions below to
install the driver and the included software.
1. Insert the software CD-ROM supplied with the package into
the CD-ROM drive.
2. The CD should auto-run and the following welcome screen will
appear. Note: If your CD-ROM drive does not support auto-run
function, please go to "My Computer" icon on the desktop,
double click the CD-ROM drive icon and click the
"InstallMgr.exe" file in the root directory.
3. Click the first option "Install StyleCam Extreme Driver" on the
Installer Menu shown on the left. The following screen will
appear:

4. Click "Next" to continue the installation the mass storage
driver. Once you finished installing the driver, the following
screen will appear and prompt you to reboot your computer.
Select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click
"Finish".
Note: Please save and close all running programs before
rebooting the computer.
7-2 Installing ArcSoft Applications
ArcSoft PhotoImpression and VideoImpression are photo
and video editing software that allows you to retouch,
enhance, add special effects, and organize your pictures
and videos. Please follow the instructions below to install the
included software applications.
ArcSoft PhotoImpression 3.0
1. Insert the software CD-ROM supplied with the package into
the CD-ROM drive.
2. The CD should auto-run and the following welcome screen
will appear. Note: If your CD-ROM drive does not support
auto-run function, please go to "My Computer" icon on the
desktop, double click the CD-ROM drive icon and click the
"InstallMgr.exe" file in the root directory.
3. Click on "Install ArcSoft PhotoImpression" to install this
application on your computer. The following screen will
appear:
