  • Page 5 A 3/16” Hex key wrench Part # 0017-00009-0834 is included in the parts bag for handlebar installation. Step 1 Untie and uncoil the WIRE HARNESS attached to the front, left side of the treadmill. Pull gently on the HARNESS to remove any slack.
  • Page 6 Step 4 Position the HANDLEBAR SPACER (#24) on the RIGHT side of the HANDLEBAR (#5) and HANDLEBAR SPACER (#31) on the LEFT side of the HANDLEBAR. Locate the HANDLEBAR into position between the two HANDRAILS. The ‘HEAD’ of the CAP SCREW already installed on the HANDLEBAR should rest in the keyhole slot of the RIGHT HANDRAIL.
  • Page 7 Step 15 The treadmill STRIDING BELT is properly centered at the factory however, the Life Fitness 9000 treadmill must be leveled in the location it is to be used. After placing the treadmill in its intended location for use, check the stability of the unit.

    Check to insure the WAX KIT was installed prior to operation. Before attempting to operate your Life Fitness 9000 treadmill, it is imperative that you familiarize yourself with the contents of the OPERATION MANUAL. If your treadmill does not respond as described in the OPERATION MANUAL contact the nearest Life Fitness Service Center as listed in the OPERATION MANUAL.
