Store the transport screws on the rear of the unit, as illustrated.

After opening the package, make sure that all the following items are present.
Contact your dealer if anything is missing.
• S-AIT library (1)
• Quick start guide (1)
• SCSI terminator (1)
• Bar code label sheets (2)
• Keys (2)
• Release pin for front door (1)
Notes
• In addition to the above, other items may be included in the package.
• All the items included with the S-AIT library are indicated on the package.
Download the Operating Instructions and device driver from the Sony Web site
(http://www.sony.net/Products/storagesolution/).
Prepare the host computer before installing the S-AIT library.

Make sure that a SCSI host adapter card is installed in the host computer.

Install all the necessary software supporting the unit on the host computer.
For details about the software that can be used with the S-AIT library and
supported operating systems, contact your dealer.
Note
The S-AIT library is an LVD SCSI device, thus it does not support single-ended.
Make sure that you use an LVD-compliant host bus adapter card.
